Is your Wireless Network Secure?

With the technology of today. Cables (at least in the home) are just about a thing of the past. There are many homes now that have more than one PC. Instead of having network cables running all over the place, people are using wireless routers connected to there Cable or DSL modems. In fact your Cable, DSL, or Fios provider actually will give you a modem that is already wireless capable if you request it. It is a very good thing not to need the cables any longer. Here comes the problem with wireless home networks. There are way too many people that don't have them secured. If your wireless is not secure, then your neighbors can just use your Internet connection and sometimes even get to your private data. It really isn't that difficult to secure it. You can evcn have it set to where the name of your wireless isn't even broadcasted. If it is not broadcasted, no one for the most part( except you) will even know it is there.

If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, just give DeLVal PC a call at 484-480-8092. We service areas such as Drexel Hill, Collingdale, Upper Darby, Brookhaven, Darby, Glenolden, Chester, and all other towns in Delaware County
